Za długi, ale dobry. Ciągnie się, lecz warto dotrwać do końca. Pod pewnymi względami przypomina "Przeminęło z wiatrem" - tu też mamy do czynienia z sagą rodu i zmianą pokoleń. Najciekawszą postać w filmie gra Dean. Początkowo biedny pomocnik, z czasem zdobywa fortunę i tworzy własne imperium. Oczywiście sukces będzie miał na niego poważny wpływ.

Too long, but good one. It stretches, but it's worth to see the end. In some ways it reminds "Gone with the Wind" - there's a family saga and generational changes too.
The most intersting one here is of course Dean. He starts as a poor helpmate then he becomes foully rich and creates his own imperium. Of course that succes has its influence on him.
